Welcome to Blunt Paws. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website (the "Site") and any purchase you make from us. Blunt Paws is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Ali Rustamov in Pleasanton, California, USA ("Blunt Paws," "we," "us"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to make a purchase.

2. Products and safe use

  • The Blunt Paws board is a nail filing board for dogs. It files the tips of the front nails through scratching; it does not replace regular nail trimming for rear nails or dewclaws, and it is not a veterinary product.
  • Always supervise your dog during use. Stop if you notice bleeding, limping, or irritation, and consult a veterinarian. Do not use on injured or cracked nails.
  • The board has an abrasive surface and a sliding treat drawer. It is not a toy for children; keep out of reach of children.
  • Wood grain and finish may vary slightly from images.
  • We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or refuse any order.

3. Pricing and payment

  • All prices are in U.S. dollars. Prices, promotions, and shipping rates may change without notice.
  • Sales tax is added at checkout where required by law.
  • If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund, even after confirmation.
  • Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments or PayPal. We do not store your card details.

4. Orders, shipping, and delivery

  • An order confirmation email means we received your order, not that it has shipped. A separate email with tracking will follow.
  • Shipping times and costs are described in our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are not guarantees; carrier and customs delays are outside our control.
  • Optional add-ons (Priority Delivery, Shipping Protection) are described in the Shipping and Refund Policies and are non-refundable once the order has shipped.
  • Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier marks the package delivered, unless you purchased Shipping Protection. If a package is marked delivered but not received, contact us within 7 days.
  • You are responsible for providing a correct shipping address.

5. Returns and refunds

6. Discount codes and promotions

Codes cannot be combined unless stated, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn at any time. We may cancel orders that abuse a promotion.

7. Reviews and user content

By submitting a review, photo, or video, or tagging us on social media, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it in our marketing. Reviews must reflect your honest experience. We may remove content that is false, offensive, or unrelated to the product.

8. Intellectual property

The Blunt Paws name, logo, videos, photos, and Site content are our property or used with permission. You may not copy, resell, or use them commercially without written consent.

9. Warranty disclaimer

Except as stated in our Refund Policy, products are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow this exclusion, so it may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including injury to pets, people, or property resulting from misuse or unsupervised use of the products.

11. California Proposition 65

Some products sold on this Site may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. For more information visit www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Before filing any claim, you agree to email bluntpaws@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts in Alameda County, California, or in small claims court where permitted.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by posting the revised version on the Site. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
